When I was in the church, they would often teach that the 144,000 saints would go to heaven alive with the heavenly mother, who would never die.

Now, I’ve heard from ex-members more recently in the church that they’re removing all the evidence of that teaching from materials and songs—probably in preparation for the fact that Zhang Gil-Jah will inevitably die.

Just like with the prophecies about the world ending in 2012, they are denying with silence that they ever taught about the 144,000 and mother going to heaven alive.

Members are forbidden to go online, where plenty of evidence of the erasure exists.

This subtle and insidious gaslighting exemplifies how the church adapts its “official story” to reflect reality and ensorcels the minds of its members.
