It started with other leaders coming to deliver services instead of Thomas on the Sabbath.
We barely got any guidance before we had to start taking care of the house church on our own.
Make sure you take good care of your husband, the other wife told me. That’s your role.
It was supposed to be every member’s dream to “be sent.” That meant getting a new job in a new state to serve another church.
While I was being punished and shunned for meeting up with Thomas outside the church, before we got married, I had the audacity to ask if I could stay in the sisters’ dorm during the feasts.
